Actuall its dark green, with speckles...I guess it just come out really dark looking. I got it (and could have gotten black) from a local cabinet maker who is a friend of mine. He had well over 150 colors and patterns of melamine to choose from.

Beautiful viv! Melamine is the greatest :) We used it in ours as well. I would love to know about your vines and branches. Did you purchase them or find them locally? Your dragons are gorgeous and look very happy (other pic) Rating: 5/5

Thanks for all of the nice comments! It was such a fun time, designing purchasing, decorating...
My male dragon is 29 inches stl, 9 inches svl.

The vines I find locally. I drive quite a bit for my job and keep a hacksaw in my trunk. The vines grow wild all along a particular highway I travel.

I did have live plants growing in the bottom, but Elliott loved to crush them, all plants are silk now.

Up top there is a metal grid that I set the lamps and heaters on.

The doors are tempered glass and are on sliders. I did not purchase them directly, but let the cabinet maker, who made this for me, purchase them for me.

I love it and am very proud of it.
Thanks
Boo
