markokayo Registered: 04/2004 Photos Uplaoded: 9 Comments Left: 0	this is obviously & defintely a deathstalker. it has black tips b/c its very old. it actually died a few weeks after the pic was taken. older scorps tend to develope slight color and desity changes. you should know that if you have kept so many. i have many others as well.

Mine is even bigger than that one. I tell you what though, you wouldn't be able to even get close enough to her to get her on your hand- which is something I personally would NEVER do. I'm sorry for your loss though.

markokayo Registered: 04/2004 Photos Uplaoded: 9 Comments Left: 0	it was not dead. it was very much alive. i've been handling scorps for years and know how to do it without getting stung (usually) :) i have another picture of the same scorpion posted here (my death stalker #2). you can see he's alive b/c his tail is and stinger are curled back (dead scorpions' tails go completely limp and fall totally straight - due to loss of muscle control which normally keeps it retracted when it's alive).
