Found this cage w/python in the dumpster by my house

Description: I found this in the dumpsters by my apartments. The cage was filthy, with feces and shed skin all over it. The snake was frozen, and left to be trash. I cleaned everything up, added the lights and new substrate, and he warmed up nicely. The only things we kept were the snake, the cage, the water dish, and the hut. I decontaminated everything. I can't believe some heartless loser would do this. We named him Jorge. View our other pictures! We have a variety!

Well, what to say. I have been married for nearly 4 years, have a child, 2 parrots, my bearded dragon, and some cichlids and crawfish. I no longer run a reptile rescue like I did 6 years ago, and I am currently a stay at home mom who makes jewelry.

what kind of @$$-hole would do that?? I'm glad you found him. He didn't deserve that.

I love snakes. I currently own 1 snow corn snake and one black corn snake. I have also kept green anoles. But I got rid of the green anoles to get more snakes. Now the only thing in between me and my snakes is my mom!

Good thing you found him. I'm sure he's happy that he found you to. Instead of that mean heartless @$$.

We have way too many reptiles. Life is good!

Yes he is doing GREAT!! He is nearly 4 feet long now and he eats adult rats. He loves to crawl into your shirt while you hold him.
