what is this? of course it has to be a blurry photo!

Description: I thought this was a bug at first because it has antennae! but then i noticed it had 8 legs. what the heck? a preggo crab spider mabye? I'm in Canada by the by.

Been raising Mantises since childhood.

It definitly does look like a Crab Spider, what with the way the legs are positioned. Not exactly sure about thier range though. The 'antenna' you saw are actually specialzed appendages called Pedipalps. The spider uses these to help manipulate prey, and the males use them as mating organs.

Single & looking. Any single, female arachnid ladies out there?

Looks like a huntsman to me. Check out my pics posted a few days ago. The body & legs look very similar. I'm in WI. by the way, so I guess some species of them are found this far north.

looks like a crab spider but i cant be sure, They do carry toxin but its incredibly weak it just hurts like a bitch if you get bit. They useually run away instead of biteing
