My Malaysian Box Turtle

Description: This is my Malaysian (Indonesian) Box Turtle Apollo
I was tryin to get him to eat a carrot but i discovered that he doesn't like to eat healthy he wont eat carrots or broccoli. Please gimme suggestions on stuff to feed him besides spinach and lettuce.

Mine usually preferred to eat in the water...you do hav a LARGE water area for him right?
They loved earthworms, boiled chicken, melon, berries, mealworms and tadpoles. Some keepers have been able to get them to eat anacharis and duckweed (excellent foods). Try bits of sardines, pre-killed minnows (not goldfish)canteloupe, honeydew, watermelon, pears and salmon as well. Try feeding in the water.
Avoid the spinach if you can...not a good food. Try dandelion greens and maybe clooards or mustard greens. endive and escarole are good choices too as is any type of squash.

thx bloom and yes he's in a 20 long which is filled with bout 2 inches of water and then he climbs up a little ramp and thats where he is in the picture.......at the top of the ramp in a land area
