Hi, I enjoy your pictures of King Claws. : ) I was thinking of getting some marine hermit crabs because they are so entertaining to watch changing shells and running around. Do you know if there are any other hermit or other crabs that can live in freshwater besides the fiddler? How entertaining is he? Pretty active? He seems to be from the pics. I saw some little marine hermit crabs at the beach and have wanted a saltwater aquarium ever since. But that seems so much more expensive and difficult. Rating: 4/5

Thanks for the nice comments, Carrie. Unfortunately, the King died about 2 weeks ago :-( without any warning. We had him about a year. I don't know of any other freshwater crabs, though there may be some out there. (I'm *hardly* an expert!) Actually, fiddlers are a brackish animal...not exactly freshwater. We're going to clean and redo the tank and start shopping for another fiddler. yes! He was *very* entertaining. I would like to get a male and 2 females this time if I can find them. I have some good links on crabs if you want. Just e-mail me. :-)
