Is this her new enclosure? Because if this is it, all she gets I don't want to be rude but that sucks. Nice looking snapper though, like to see her in a large more natural enclosure.

My specialty is native herps, especially turtles. I have been studying and keeping native herps for over 10 years. During that time, I have been studying common snappers in the wild, and am an expert on both snapper species.

Its bigger than it looks. Theres another half you cant see in the picture.

That has wheels on it right? And it comes with a white lid that can be snapped on with the handles? You can get them at walmart for like 10 bucks, I use them as holding tubs for small turtles. Sorry it's just that I hate to see stuff like this, such a beautiful specimen destined to spend her life in a tiny plastic tub. I meen this is like keeping a dinosaur in a 10 gallon tank. Doesnt sound like much fun to me man, but each to his own.

Well, thank you for your opinion. I have been keeping snappers and many other turtles for 10 + years, in all types of aqauriums & cages. I've had nothing but success. I've had this female since she hatched in 1995, and i've always taken good care of her. And, by the way, she has free range of the room, and comes and goes at will. Shes not confined by any means, like so many turtles are.

I feel she is comfortable in this enclosure. And no, she wont be in it forever. A large stock tank awaits.

Thank you.

Glad to hear you plan on putting her in a large stock tank. She will look awesome in a nice natural setup. Post some pics when you set her up, would love to see them.
