Remeber When?

Description: Just read this . . .WOW we've come a long way! Thank goodness! This is printed without permission but the book is quite old from 1966 by Aquariums Incorporated. I don't even think they're around any more.

This sounds bad...but when i first got my turtle over a year ago, I got him at the mall in one of those bowls. Thank god for the internet! I went out and bought a tank and filters and heat lamps and a turtle dock. He's doing great now. But too many stores are carrying little cute turtles and not telling buyers how much work they are. I didnt know how big he would get until after i got him.

Yep, I too got a little RES from someone in one of those crappy bowls just a few months ago. Can't believe some pet stores still sell them. This little RES had a respiratory infection , wouldn't eat and was lethargic. This one was lucky. After a few days of warmth and injectable antibiotics he perked up and is fine now. Thank goodness for tiny, tiny syringes and needles! Rating: 4/5
