First of all, why don't you know this lil guys species? The poor thing, I'm not sure if this was an influence buy, or a friend giving this gorgeous parrot to you, but at least you could no the species. Especially, being that the bird has a hefty price tag.

You are right the one on the back is known as a monk parakeet, or a quaker.

The one in the front looks like jenday conure to me, but it may be a sun/jenday conure hybrid.

Research, before you recieve,
Steven

Hey, i'm a herper too, but i work at a pet store and we sell what u have. it is a Sun conure. Thanks Buddy but it's not mixed with jenday. Sun Conures come in different patterns and colors. This is a Sun Conure and it looks to me a male at that. Rating: 3/5

My specialty is native herps, especially turtles. I have been studying and keeping native herps for over 10 years. During that time, I have been studying common snappers in the wild, and am an expert on both snapper species.

The bird is not mine, just helping my sister out with the ID..the parrots were given to her. I always know about my animals before buying, thank you.

i love animals!

it's a quaker parakeet in the back and a jenday conure. or a hybrid with a jenday/sun. NOT a sun conure. probably a full jenday. trust me; i have over 40 sun and jenday conures in a huge aviary. i also have other conures and birds, and other pets. Rating: 2/5
