He's around 6 inches in length. Very interesting behavior for a nocturnal fish. He comes out during the day and feeds with the other fish and takes food directly from an eye dropper I use to feed brine shrimp, blood worms, etc. Rating: 5/5

I bought one of these fish about a week ago. I love the way they look. Just one problem, I never see mine. I turn off all the lights and just keep waiting for him to come out but not yet. Do you have any suggestions?

I bought mine about 2-years ago. He was in a tank with other Black Knife Ghosts and he seemed quite different from the others... He (or she) came out regularly and was always looking for food (even with lights on).

He's not always out while the lights are on - but does start coming out when it's feeding time.

I have a cave for mine. He gets quite excited when I feed live food like tubifex worms. Perhaps this would get one out in the open more often. He's also in a tank with fish that won't hassle him.
