This photograph was taken with a sony cybershot digital camera with no optical zoom. I have a stage setup in my basement with a white background. Without the optical zoom, I was required to get very close to the subject. I then used Paintshop Pro to adjust contrast and brightness... basically to "clarify" details of the photo.
