No, Its a normal phase or a Wild Phase. Leos are banded as babies and as they grow the bands break up into spots. This is just what they do. Rating: 3/5

As a baby it wasn't banded though. I have quite a few leos, and as a baby this one looked very much unlike any of my others. No bands at all.
