Hello Kayvon,

I have a question: judging by your picture does this subspecies of bamboo ratsnake become calm with age, to the point where you can actually handle it? I have a captive bred male from '06 and it's quite aggressive; when disturbed it will not hesitate to bite (the snake strikes with lightening speed, out of nowhere) for a single moment. The snake will also not sit still. Sometimes I manage to get it to crawl onto my hands (when I open the lid of the box I'm keeping it in, the snake often tries to escape out of the box, I can then let it crawl onto my hands), but the snake then directly jumps off my hands onto the ground. Does this behaviour sound somewhere familiar?

Thanks! With kind regards,
