Gordon has been working on crocodiles for a long time ,so it's no surprise that he has an excellent eye for capturing the essence of crocodile. In this case we have the king of them all, a dominant male Saltwater Crocodile (Crocodylus porosus) on course with intent. Apart from being a great picture that grabs your attention, it really communicates a lot about the mastery of their domain. This picture has a dreamy, oil-painting look to it. It also shows the motion of the crocodile, and the scutes along its back have never looked better.
