Boa Injury

Description: I noticed this when my boa last shed...does anyone know if this is just an abrasion or if its some kind of infection??

I have a Black Mexican Kingsnake and a Stimson's Python

It doesn't look like an abrasian, I wonder if your snake is getting enough vitamin C or calcium. You might want to try "repti wound healing aid" my friend used it on his grey banded king, his snake was constantly grinding his nose on the metal mesh cage top till it got raw. Hope your snake gets better.
