Tokay Viv Sketch

Description: This is what I'm planning to build for a new Tokay gecko I'm getting this Spring. Its a more complicated enclosure then my other enclosures so I don't know if my dad and I can build it but we're going to give it a try. We're going to use Oak for the sides and back then Plexi-Glass for the front, cause I'm cheap :) The too little sections down at the bottom on the front of the enclosure will be sliding doors for access to things on the ground so the Tokay won't get out easily but the lid will be removable also. I'm going to put up a more detailed sketch later but for now I'm still working the bugs out with my dad.

Life long anole enthusiast and iguana lover.

Good luck with the finished design. Try to keep mesh to a minimum. Of all the Tokays I've dealt with (sadly only about 4), basking temps below 85-95 were always insufficient and they need high humidity -- two things open vivarium style cages don't usually accommodate. :(
