african river tank

Description: 4ft, 55gal beginning to be set up... Needs plants still. I want to add the fish soon! But I also want to wait till our next aquarium club meeting/mini-auction because plants are WAY cheaper there than at the store...

Otherwise there are a few large and a few smaller rocks, and some wood. I tried to keep it fairly natural, but the astute observer could notice a party hidden pvc pipe and a flower pot (actually, the pic is too dark to see them) - both to provide caves...

Sorry for not responding.. haven't checked back in a while. The wood I found.. in my yard actually... (my "yard" is 160 acres) It is a piece of poplar that was standing dead and dry. It hasn't seemed to cause any water problems, the only thing is that after months now, it still wants to float. I have been able to replace the very large stone you see in the pic, with a smaller one to weight it down though.
