Description: im not really sure what kind of lizard this is yet. i think it was something like a jeweled something or other. if anybody can be of any help please do.

LOL, this is funny, at first I thought your pic was mine!, you see I own a pair of, what I had not a clue these lizards were, but then was told they are some kind of Curly tailed lizard!, my male Neo looks like yours & my female Trinity looks like a dalmatian dog at the front!!!,they are happily in with my Dubia Day gecko Morpheous*.
So its actually Jewelled curly tailed lizards thwey are called?

Awesome curly tail. They were my first lizards when I was a kid. Just a note to the previous poster though, they do have quite different habitats than your day gecko, specifically they live in a dryer climate. They also of course arn't aboreal and thus a different cage layout is needed. I'm glad though that you've discovered what your other lizards are. I'm sure you know lots already about your day gecko; I have yet to find a book about keeping the curly tails. REPTILES magazine had a great article about them sometime in 2003.
