I use normal sand, it looks very nice and I haven't had any problems with my gecko's! thanks for the compliment!

Normal sand as in playsand? I am on the verge in creating a natural enclosure and am in need for some ideas on substrate since I have heard so many bad things about it. Do you feed out of a bowl or do you just throw the crixs in? Thanks,
Chris D.

I just powder the crickets and put them in! They even eat mealworms en the sand but the gecko's have learned to eat them very gently!

I think the tank looks nice but i do have one concern...Are you not worried about mealworms escaping into the sand and then developing into beetles? I bowl fed mealworms. Only when i cleaned out the cage of ALL the sand did i find that two mealworms had escaped.

I wouldn't recommend gettin anything taller than that middle piece. Remember, leopard geckos are terrestrial.

Do you have a humid hide? If not, I would get one. My leos love mine, spend most of the day in it.

I,m still changing little things in my tank. For example I have an place were they can lay there egs and it works beautifully. I already have 12 good egs. And I haven't got any problems with the mealworms, I always look if they have eaten them al and the geckos eat out of my hand! But thankx for de comments! Greetz ivo
