The smaller ones are real rocks fixed on an extra piece of glass with silicon. The larger rocks connected to the background are made out of Polystyrene and tile adhesive (i have also used gypsum with the same success).

Is the polystyrene the stuff that you spray out of a can, that looks like foam then hardens up? Then did you just spread the tile adhesive over it? Also, did you make each of those fake rocks one by one and then glue them together or is the whole thing one big structure?

it is not the stuff you can spray. These are plates of polystrene. http://www.acanthurus.org/TerrariumbauTeil3.htm. That's the link to the pictures of polystrene plates on my site. I have made the rocks on by one and then fixed them at the very end with silicon.
If you want a better description I can mail you one. I have just translated one into English (as good as I could :-).
You're right on how to use the tile adhesive.

Good idea to post the link. The babelfish translation tool is as good as the one you used. I already prepared and sent the translation to the others who asked for it. The problem is, I am out of town and haven't taken the docs with me. I'll be back home at the beginning of Septembre. What do you use for heat at night?

I don't heat at night. The isolation of a polystrene cage is very good. The temperature is something about 21-25 degree. Absolutly no problem.
