i feed live...usually if they won't eat a dead one. those pictures obviously were from someone who left it in there. would you keep the mouse in there after if had made one huge hole in the snake? that snake looked like it got run over by a lawnmower. either it was left unattended, or it took the owner a few hours to reach his hand in and pull the mouse out. poor snake =(
