all ringnecks are rear-fanged. I'll put it this way, they are in no way dangerous to people. They almost never bite. Also, the fangs are in the back of the mouth, chances of them fangs going into you and injecting the saliva with venomous properties are slim to none. You would most likely have to put your finger all the way into the back of it's mouth and cut your finger on a fang, lol, don't try that, I don't need a lawsuit. If you wanna know more about ringnecks go to my website, http://www.freewebs.com/mikesnake

lmfao. hahaha. thanks for the info but i kno what a rearfang snake is. i was wandering if the ringneck was a rear fang. hahahahahaha. but ill check all that out ne way, cause i was thinkin about moving to venomes snakes, and herd rear fangs were good to start with.

If you are thinking of going venomous and starting with a rear-fanged then I'd suggest going with a mangrove snake. They get big and can be a bit fiesty which is something that you want to know how to deal with when you get to the more dangerous variety of venomous snakes.

thanx, as far as venomis goes, i want to eventually end up with a monical cobra, and a rino viper. i was told to start out with a copper head, or rattle snake, cause there local. or somesort rear fang.
