I was just saying if I didnt have any coatis and I had the money, I'd buy a mountain coati from Cliff.

I see. Well, I know if I could take it all back I would have gotten mine from Cliff too. But oh well.
Course knowing what all I know now, I think I might have been happier getting a Kinkajou. Baby Coatis are so fun and cute and you can do things to keep them happy and keep them from destroying too much. But when they get older...its a different story! Course if you got them from cliff they would be declawed and you really would never have any of the problems, nearly as hard to deal with, as mine have been! lol
Only 450 more dollars to finish thier declawing. Then I have to find out how much it costs for getting the canines removed! I used to be totally againt anyone taking canines out of animals. But from what I have learned from Cliff and reading about other exotics that have this done, I now realize the importance of it. Especially when you have an unfixed male. So that will be next on my list.

Cliff has them de-clawed, neutered, removed K-9s, and micro chipped all for $750. Its worth it if you think about it. I love my kinkajou and I hardly ever had any problems with him. Someday I will get a baby mountain coati from Cliff. He is a great guy that knows a lot about coatis. Whats your e-mail address?

BTW my kinkajou is an in-tact male and I hardly ever have problems with him. I got him as an adult and he wasnt as nice as he is now, so we have had to work with him a little.

I like the cool face markings, ours are all White-nosed coati and look alot like coons to non-exotic types.
BTW - you are waiting on this spring for the female to breed, the male was old enough a while back. When she gets snappish you will have a couple weeks where she is NOT your best friend - just go slow.
I posted a new pic of Jack O'Neil
