I cant believe this conversation went on for so long. It should have stopped when that guy mentioned the shadow is solid, look at the shadow just look at it.

Donald.....I wasn't aware that Elapids or any other venomous snake was legal in Carlsbad...hmmmmmmm. Either way I don't really care, it's just funny to see someone really want a picture like that of themself. What's even more funny than that is to see what 15 year olds have to post about snakes they don't have or ever will (Then again if you have one in Carlsbad I'm sure for these "experts" it's only a matter of time). In addition, I'm sure they have handled many anoles or ball pythons though.

HA YEah dude you totally told him. I agree just becuase we are young doesnt mean we are stupid. If you think you are better becuase the snakes and lizards you've encountered or own are more deadly than what we have handled you are very much mistaken. I have only ever handled one venomous snake with hooks but I will be very much surprised if you have handled a snake with a more potent venom or a more aggressive nature than an inland tiapan.

Told me what? I wasn't aware that anyone told me anything of significance. And you are absolutely right, we all start somewhere. I was fifteen catching snakes around my house the same as you. The difference was that at that time I was reading books as well, not posting obvious nonsense on a forum. Yeah, I'm sure you read too, great. Keep reading. Don't just say the same thing over and over again. Sure, we all know our friend Donald here isn't being very smart, but that it is just our opinion. What is not our OPINION is that if donald here is living in Carlsbad than he is breaking the law, in addition to being what we see as foolish. As far as handling taipans and all that jazz. Awesome, I hope you become the greatest snake handler ever. I would imagine you also have a great deal of experience with king browns, tigers, and red bellies too right? I mean you are at the top of the food chain so I'm sure you worked your way up. Seriously, what does that prove? I hope someone old enough to drive was with you to take you to the hospital had anything gone wrong. Anyway, keep posting guys, and I hope the taipans work well for you.

I am currently getting a BS. The photo was taken in south Africa a few years ago where these snakes occur and now I live in Carlsbad. I like to see the reaction to a photo and how people can become so high and mighty about a photo and bring in all these so called areas of expertise the supposedly have. I have not checked on the since I posted last and I really cant believe that you guys devote so much time and effort to slagging people off. it is sad. I just thought it was a nice photo to share...sorry

Finally someone told me something. Donald, you are absolutely right, I want the ten minutes of my life back, because I feel cheated. My apologies and good luck with you degree. By the way the Red and Southerns are out in flocks in San Diego right now.
