I had green tree frogs but I let them go so they can prepare for winter! I have a pair of baby painted turtles that I will also have to release soon, and a slimy salamander. Gotta say bye-bye to most of my little buddies :(

dont release captive turtles into the wild it can kill them for example sicknesses that they havent built up a immunity to, find a local turtle club or reptile club and get rid of them there
beside the fact of ifor if not the that species lives in the area
cant tell you how many red-eared sliders
are in the local lakes were i live and they dont originate in my area

We have only had them for a few months... we have been bringing in pond water, plants, and food materials weekly. Could that possibly help them build up immunity? These are this year's hatchlings from a golf course that has about a dozen ponds.
