Furangel writes, "Actually, I did not see your post as I did not realize there were more than one page of post."
Come on now, once again, you skipped several posts that dealt with everything you continue to knock me for. Like I've said before, MOST people will refuse to read something, see a picture, and comment on it REGARDLESS of reading what the author had intended to show. Once again, people most likely get their info from THE MEDIA who claim that EVERY dog bite is a PITBULL because it sounds more dramatic. Besides, someone who has over 100 posts should realize that there is more than one page!!!

boabrad, I have to say that was a very immature reply.

I would hardly say I get my information from what I hear, having had Pit Bull Terriers my whole life & currently owning two.

Second, I only discovered this website about a week ago. At the time I replied to this, it would have been just a couple days I had been posting. Yes, I have replied to many of the beautiful pictures but, your picture was one of the first. No, I did not see your post. No, that I did, I realize you apparently were did not have bad intentions. Yes, I think you should have never posted it...

are they just playing?

Yes arturgorniak they are playing. They play in the morning, afternoon and at night. Both are crate trained and love to goof off most of the day. When one of them has a ball in the mouth, the other one chases him until the ball goes flying. They are very entertaining. Please feel free to make yourself at home and read the above posts to answer some of your important questions. Thanks for writing!

Wow, what a debate this photo created! I only started reading the comments because it has more comments than any other picture and I wanted to see why. My first thought was how in the heck did he get a photo of this because it looks so scary. But, then I really looked at the photo and started laughing. The dog on the left has the funniest mouth and his tongue is curled under, too funny. These are 2 gorgeous dogs in a very "got lucky" picture that will unfortunately firm up some opinions in some people's minds. I think you've explained it (you even apologized to everyone) the best you can and people will continue to think what they want. You've done all you can do.

I agree with Gugirl this is quite a funny picture. Look at his tongue hahaha. I think you should be very proud to have such beautiful looking dogs and I am very happy knowing that you obviously take good care of them and accept them as part of your family including them in the christmas festivities. Good on you for saving them from the pound :-)

I own two APBTs, one rescued. I also have fostered a countless number of them. Knowing uneducated people's reactions to this breed, I think you made a mistake by posting it, regardless of your intentions. I do have to admit, I would not find it funny regardless of the breed. I think the dog on the left has an adorable look on his face but, by the looks of the picture, it can easily be mistaken for aggression, especially with the other dog there. My two play constantly with each other & my other animals. I'm glad you rescued these dogs from the pound. Not many make it out. I have read many of the post & see people have so many different opinions. I just hope nobody got the wrong idea about this breed due to this picture.

Thank you Furangel,
it's been my experience that people already have a wrong impression of this breed in general thanks to the media sensationalizing the breed and plastering the news with many dog bites that were said to be from a Pit but were some other breed in reality. A lot of people have made up their mind regarding this breed and this picture sure didn't help my, your's or any other Pitbull keeper's cause. Once again, my apologies to all. Useful pics are on the way...stay tuned. >:0}

I have to make a comment here. I own a bully breed, an American bulldog mix. I have even posted a picture of him wrestling with his little buddy a beagle. I guess i should go back and check to see how many negaitve comments it has received. When I looked at the picture, I saw the whole picture. The torn Christmas paper, the stances, that great overbite, etc. It never crossed my mind that these were two pits getting ready to kill each other. Just two healty dogs having fun.

I have a Weimaraner and a lab mix who look meaner than this when they play. They are just having fun. And honestly people do you think this person would be having trained killers fighting in there house? There is nothing wrong with letting your dogs have alittle fun.

Whats even stranger, is when I come home from work, these dogs go absolutely nuts. "Sumo" on the left, gets his name because he will get a running start and use his chest to smash into mine, much like a Japanese Sumo wrestler. Jinks, pictured on the right was a Jinks because he got us thrown out of an apartment and we had to buy our first home with a nice big backyard! These dogs play like this all the time. It starts the moment my wife gets home too. They only try to Sumo wrestle me though. I only made one mistake, my wife and daughters have taken Martial Arts (Kenpo Karate) for a long time. I was practicing with my youngest (11) a manuever for blocking a punch and a counter attack. Jinks went nuts and barked at me. He won't allow that stuff. It only took me one time to figure that one out. Even though they are both rescues, I need to respect where they came from as well as the breed. Jinks was so underweight and malnurished it was pitiful. They get the best of dog food and plenty of leash time. This photo was taken after they played with the cardboard insert to the wrapping paper. With plenty of trips to the vet for shots and check-ups, we are very proud of our dogs and love as family. For those of you who wrote in and were obviously informed as to the nature of these dogs and knew they were playing, I thank you for your kind words. I can assure you that the future pics of Sumo and Jinks will have no teeth...except Sumo, he's got an underbite that won't quit. And I can't get an orthodontist to make house calls.

I like this picture since I'm sure the dogs are just playing. My pitbulls do this all the time and no one gets hurt and they love each other. It is a scary picture to the untrained eye.

I understand everyone being upset by the photo. Anyone who looks at the picture will surely draw their own conclusions. I was at first upset with it myself. Then I viewed the OTHER photos by this person. LOOKED at the photo.. They are obviously VERY LOVED,CARED for and like to have FUN. Check out all of the pictures of them!! They are BEAUTIFUL!
