Burms can start on rabbits as early as 5-6ft, but I wouldn't recomend it untill it gets 7-8....

I'll try to reply as best as possible, for I have a Baby Boa doing laps around my head. Yes my nose has been a subject of taste, but only once so far.

The Constrictor family (Pythons, Boas) seem to be able to eat an animal equal to three (3) times their largest body diameter, and this is not necessarily the largest body, but the largest bony mass, as soft tissue is elongiated during swallowing. At one time I thought that this would increse shedding, but this does not appear to be the case. Now I gage their feeding needs by the size of their "Brown" feces. Large brown is feeding them more than they can absorb. Small to none means feeding them more. A large feed animal has less hair/skin than multiple small ones.
