Hy and thank you for rating my photo.
I used real sedimentary rocks i foud near a river in my country (Naples in Campania, Italy), and aquarium-wood to avoid wood corrupting or rottening. To part the water side (on the right side in the photo, it contains about 4 liters of OSMOSIS WATER, it's very important!!) from the substarum-side i used a large and flat rock on the aquarium bottom; i've obtained the waterside/substrate-side parting by abundantly using silicone to weld and waterproof this rock on the bottom glass of the aquarium. I also abundantly used silicone between the rock and the lateral aquarium glasses, and between the rock and the upon one, another flat rock orizzontally arranged. To get an idea, you can see my other photo too.
