looks like you have a really good relationship with your B/W..he's BEAUTIFUL that being said...i have a few questions, but let me give you some background history first..Manu my b/w is about 2f...he's really great..sooooo much better than what i had expected...i feed him frozen mice(pinkies),crickets, turkey(which i mix with soy beans or salad mix- greens), some fruit here and there..(apple, orange..kiwi). I've been working on potty training from the get-go..i place him in the tub with warm water and he does his "thing".. he know's by now that tub-time means poop-time hahaah and he DOES IT!! ..anyhow..its not all peaches..sometime ago i made the HUUUGE mistake of feeding manu some pork-cubes...he had the "shakes" the next morning...poor thing..i thought he was a "goner"...anyhow he got better and manu and i are now getting over the "pork" incident...which brings question #1. What not to feed...what is generaly considered a good diet.
I have started to let 'em roam around..he's really good ...i do keep a close eye on him...which brings Q#2. leash training ..how is it done...cos its nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get him in a leash...do u know what the "kosher" kinda leash would be...or is my tegu at 2f ready for a leash to begin with.can tegus be trained and to what extent?...sorry about all these questions..i would appreciate any help..and i thank u aforehand...like i said before ROLLIN (is that his name?) is AWSOME..and he seems like a happy tegu..and u look like a happy dude who enjoys his tegu as much as i do.
