Keywords: reptarium fountain pond
This is our new setup for a graceful chameleon. The cage is a reptarium. 30W x 16.5D x 48T. The Ivy and the Croton are live. I made everything in this cage with the exception of the flexible vines that hold all the bamboo together. The fountain was hand made and runs into a pond with a fogger. helps with running water and humidity issues. Thanks for looking.
It would be way more natural to hide the pots with cork bark.

Oh dear god.. that would be oddest decoration that i've ever seen. Why didn't you use regular branches? Is a half bamboo stick even suitable for a chams leg?

if you rub it with sand paper no splinters will come off and it should be fine.

the bamboo ladder is just very small diameter bamboo. maybe about 1/3" in diameter. I bought 3 pieces about 3 foot long each. One of them was cut into 3 one foot segments. I then took some of the flexible vine that you can buy in almost any pet store and cut it into small pieces. The pieces were then used like twist ties to hold the three smaller cut pieces onto the two longer uncut pieces. I sanded the ends of all the pieces with 240 grit sandpaper to smooth things out and then attached some moss to the reptivines to hide them a bit and try to make things a bit more natural.
As far as the fountain goes its much much to large for a graceful chameleon to really climb on (2 inch diameter bamboo). however, the entire thing was sanded, then varnished, and allowed to dry for about 2 weeks and washed to make sure it was safe for the little guy.
