Thats a sweet tank, great to see people giving them space!
How is it all held together?

There is grooves cut into the wood that the panels slid into. I then used aquarium silicone for the corners. It hols together well when the cover is on but is no very strong when the cover is off. I am trying to get my hands on some "Weld on 4 or 16" to strenghten it up but i live in truro N.S. and I called around and glass shops don't have it.

Thanks for the post

Truro eh? I'm in Bedford, not far off lol
I wonder if you could make a rim for the top that is slotted the same as the base and seal it on with silicone. Maybe your existing cover could sit on top of it?
it might help make it a bit stronger and still let you have access to the inside of the tank.

Yeah i was thinking of doing soemthing like that. I was wondering were you get your leo's at? The leos at Pets Unlimited are very "limited" and sick looking.

No I haven't been unfortunate enough to get any there, truro looked horrible over this winter :(
Around here each of the p.u. have some decent, some horrible. none really look very good when I look at my own :)
I bought 2 of mine from a breeder, one from a guy that had too many pets and bred the rest. you??

1 from some here looking to get rid of it and one from a breeder in Halifax, Neil Meister. He was really nice and if he had more I would be getting some but I think he is just into rare geckos now.

Yeah Neil is a right on guy, I've been to his place... amazing! he puts a lot of effort into his geckos. He's the guy I got 2 of mine from. Last I heard I think he was selling off his breeder leos.
what are you looking at getting?? it might be easier to email back & forth instead of going through the photo gallery lol

Great setup... How did you make those tunnels on the far left of the setup? Looks very natural.
Thanks,

I made them using a styrofoam-like blocks. You can find them at most craft stores. The plants are fake. I got both the plants and the blocks at Dollarama.

This tank looks great! Is that a humid hide in the right rear corner? Is it just a plastic box buried in the sand? I'm curious; I have a pictus and am not fond of the margarine tub look....

This tank is so nice! How've you created the hiding place at the left? Is that just a part you have bought in a shop?
