Cage I built by remodeling an old store display case. Constructed rock out of polystyrene, tile adhesive, polyacrylic and sand. For more info go to "cage info" link at http://geocities.com/tnstuttle/
That's way cool!!! Nice work! What are you going to put in it?

Thanks, it was fun making, but took forever. I only have one male beardie in it right now, but I plan on introducing 2 female beardings into it when they get bit older.

Thanks for the compliment on the cage. Polystyrene is similar to Styrofoam, but is denser and is less messy. It can be purchased at home depot in different thicknesses. I used two-inch sheets that I cut and glued together with foam glue to create the shapes. You don’t actual mold the styrene, you shape it. Some people brush acetone or paint thinner on the surface to give it a rough look, but I found that just using a hand saw, Dremmel tool and a hand file worked best. It mainly depends on the look you are going for.
I didn’t actually purchase the polystyrene that I used because I picked up a bunch of scrap pieces at a office building construction site. They use it as insulation around the foundation of their buildings. Hope this helps.
