i have that same bowl with my juv water snake...im working a tank with a stream...coolies

Try and put a piece of longer driftwood that will give your snake a place to sun itself. My ball python loves this. Just something to think about. Nice looking cage. Good luck.

Great setup. I noticed you don't have clips and you're using a weight to keep the lid down. May work now, but once it gets a bit bigger, that weight ain't gonna stand a chance and you may find an empty tank in the morning. Just my 2cents!

its a lockable lid, and a bp cant thrust open 6 pounds on weight with its head...my friend has about 2 pounds of weight on his cgae top (2 peices of wood)...his Bp is 4 feet and it cant even raise the screen top......just my .02
