Each snake is an individual and some can handle more than others. My bp is almost four feet and xould barley handle a med. I think it is cause of his small head, though. I realized some bps have bigger heads than others, so feeding can differ cause of that...

!!! That bp looks awfully thin for a female bp thats around 4ft. If i were you i would give it 1 med rat once EVERY WEEK not every 2 weeks!

yo i think shes beautiful and to tell u the truth feeding a snake more mice then one large rat is alot more healthy because of the rats high fat content but uh yeah u mite wanna feed her like 3 mice a week

rimgreaper have u gone nutz? Rats are way more nutritious and healthy for a ball python. If you did your homework, ball pythons are born to be fat and eating things like rats and not mice, mice are nothing but bones in my opinion, i personally would slap some1 if i heard them feeding a couple of mice to their 5ft boa or 4ft + ball python, its just not right.

Thanks,
Ben

take a look at my snake.. I feed him one LARGE rat every 2 weeks. Last week i tried to feed him 2 large rats but he didnt want the 2nd one. Your snake should be eating large rats..

both my bp's have been to the vet and have been said to be very healthy on the diet that they are recieving. I feed them what I can purchase at the local pet store. When they dont have rats I can't let her go w/out eating.I tried breading rats but they could not keep up with the rapid breading rate in the winter and we were soon over come w/Rats.
