Yes, that's a Southern Painted Turtle if you were asking? Sorry not sure, but if you already know than just forget this post, lol. The E/W Painted Turtle doesn't have a back stripe.

Is there both a Western and Eastern painted Turtle? Just curious...In one of my books it mentions both so I wasn't for sure.

Martin died today (11-15-03) at around 2:00 Pm. I don't know why. He was doing great, then I went in to feed him and found that he had passed away. I only had him for 8 days. He had a very short life =`(
