Yeah, they are pretty hard to keep. They are a kind of Millipede i believe, and they are tempremental. Mine wouldn't eat and die. You have to grow rotting particals for them to eat too. It sucked.

I had 2 of them a few years back. When they where close to dyeing they got that discoloration on them like the on the one here I don't know if it related but though that I would pass along the info I have been wanting to get more but with what I have been reading it is next to impossible to keep them alive :(
