Wow! that is a fantastic shade of red. and it is hardly marked at all. What do the parents look like?

Thanks. This little guy is actually getting darker every day.

The parents are from some of the original imports from Papua New Guinea, imported in the 1970's. They are descendants of breeders from the Sedgewick Co. Zoo in Kansas, and possibly the Steinhardt Aquarium in San Diego.

The dam is mostly solid green with very few scattered white spots. She is very large and has produced fairly large clutches for me. The sire is pale lime green with a very faint turquoise striping and scattered white, yellow, and blue spots. He also has a yellow undertone to his color and pale green and yellow diamonds lining the blue stripe.

The have proven to be one of the most polymorphic bloodlines around and produce some VERY NICE animals. Most of my chondro collection is comprised of animals that I held back from previous breedings.....lots of high yellow and high blue animals.

Thanks again for the compliments.
