I thinks that's just sad. People like you shouldn't own animals. All animals can be unpredictable and bite, scratch or whatever. If you aren't prepared to take the risk don't get involved! Poor snake!

Thank you arboreals. I am so glad you did not pass up on the opportunity to lecture us all on responsible snake keeping. May we go to recess now?

I agree! There is this kid across the street whos father let hime puchase a baby Burmese. When they came home with it I informed the father of how big the snake will grow. He made the kid take the snake to his moms house, and a few weeks later it showed up dead under the couch. The pet stores around here require that you be 18 or a parent to purchase animals. So parents need to educate themselves about the species before they purchase it for their kids. Thats just responsible parenting.

Arboreals If you dont mind me asking but I cant see any reason for you to call anyone irresponsible, I might have missed something but what did who say that made them irresponsible

Well, If this person lives w/ his parents....It would be kinda hard for him to choose anything over them....Considering they feed him and all;)....I put blame on the parents when it comes to this stuff....Because they are the ones that "LET" their child have the animal in the first place....I like to think I'm a cool mom.....But when you live in my house you go by my rules;)
