I'm not sure where it took place but from the looks of the people and the suroundings, probably the jungles of South America.

The retic looks like it came from the islands of Sulawesi. I doubt that's a human though. Probably a large pig.

I know specialists have been looking to these pictures and concluded that they are most likely fake. The large bump in the snake when it is in the truck has the shape and size of a pig. Also they found reason to believe that there were things not right on the second picture. In countries like Indonesia they do anything to make people more scared for snakes than they already are.
For example I found a same kind of picture in a major newspaper when I was in Indonesia back in 1990 telling a kid had been eaten. On the picture only feet of the people standing around were seen. Back in Holland I found the complete picture in an old dutch magazine. The picture was taken during the time the dutch were still ruling over Indonesia, about 80 years ago.

The photo is fake. There was a coment in Reptiles Magazine about a year ago. This is one of several photos. Most of them are of a reticulated python but one was of an anaconda. As we all know anaconda are found in South America and Retics are found in South East Asia.
