It is, I never thought it was possible for a snake to eat a human because of our wide shoulders. I guess I was wrong. It does not look like this picture was faked. I have another one that is before they cut the snake open but I didn't post it.

I hate pictures like this. This is the reason that people are trying to limit/ban the ownership of snakes. People don't understand that this is a very rare, if not only time, occurence. These pictures have been posted so many times I am getting tired of seeing them.

i highly doubt the authenticity of this picture. i've seen it in a million places and each one pointed out something about it that makes it seem less and less real to me.

I agree that snakes are awesome creatures, and if this picture is authentic, this occurence is so rare that it is almost unheard of. People are so terrified of snakes because of lack of education on them, and the most people don't know that something like there is like a 1 in a billionth chance of this actually happening

well put janos...i ve haven't found anything to fear in snakes, and i never will. i've been bitten so many times i've lost count. and if getting bit is why people are so scared of them, then they've got a lot to learn indeed. and for people that fear snakes because they may get bitten by them, here's a newsflash: ANY ANIMAL WILL BITE UNDER THE RIGHT CIRCUMSTANCES! i don't care if it's a dog, a cat, a horse, a pig, or a cuddly koala bear. any animal, big or small will defend itself if it feels the need to. what's another reason people are afraid of snakes? i've heard "because they're slimy" quite a few times, or they feel "gross". these people obviously never handled the animal. and if they're worried about being attacked by a gigantic python, or man hungry boa, they've got yet another thing coming. just like you said janos, it's very far and inbetween. i don't think it's fair to pass judgement on an animal if you know nothing about it. ok my ranting is over lol

Sad picture!
This picture also hit the frontpage of a danish newspaper!
Here in Denmark the goverment, know nothing about snakes, but they respondet, they have banned all the giant snakes!
Python molurus, Python sebae, Python reticulatus, Eunectes murinus.
We are only 5 million people in Denmark, and nobody has ever been eaten by a snake here! Every year a few are killed by dogs, But our govermet simply dont seem to care!

That is sad for the Danish people. Once again it all comes down to lack of education about snakes.

Yes! It’s a sad thing to ban this snakes! But I think it’s even sadder, that this stupid uneducated government is set to rule over my country! LOL!

come on people first off the body is in the snake the wrong it is way to far down the body to be as intact as it is they payed some local kid to crawl inide the stomach of the snake that they found after it had eaten one of the local peoples pigs or goats and killed it if that snake had really eaten that guy unless they found it meer hours after the event had happened there would be numerous places of skin that had rotted away with all the acids in the stomach of the snake.

That's what I was thinking. The body seems way to far down to be in that good of condition.

I seen this picture before. They just cut the snake open and a guy crawlled in for the picture.
