how do you clean the water????

The water is pretty much maintained biologically, but it is filtered through a Fluval 1 placed under the stump. A tube then travels from the filters output up through the middle of the stump, and the water is pumped over the rocks. The water is tested every few weeks, but in the meantime, every Monday I replace a few cups with fresh treated water.
