He obviously knows it is a corn snake.
There are so many different morphs of corn snakes and there are so many people calling their snakes something they aren't to get more money that it can sometimes be difficult for beginners to be sure they were given correct information.
By the way plong.......what about these pictures that you posted? The heading under both state that you are not sure what they are. HMMM.. what about that?

O.k so ure telling me that people don't get a reptile to show of to there mates?? "ohh look what i have got".
And to be honest the two hatchling pictures that i posted, are normals cause it is quite hard to tell what morph a corn snake it untill it has sloughed it skin a few times. or is it just that mr zoooligist aka "draybar" can tell what type of reptile or morph it is from a mile away.
My concern was that people just by reptiles/animals not knowing a thing about them just to show off or inpress people thats why pet get misstreated cause people don't know what they are doing with them

You admonished him for getting a snake when he wasn't exactly sure what morph it was when you have/had at least two snnakes you weren't sure of.
what makes it OK for you but not OK for him.
If you read my post you will see where I explained that it can be difficult to tell. I did't jump on him for not knowing, I jumped on you for being rude and arrogant towards him. You are the one that acted as if he knew everything not me.
By the way....one of your pictures is a gopher snake not a normal corn.....oh well, what can I say...
Your words under the photo of your "unknown" corn snake were almost exactly the same as his words above. Once again, why is it OK for you to be unsure but not OK for him? That is the question now isn't it.

if u can "READ" draybar (mr zoooligist) i put on a recent post that i "thought" they were normal corns. i didn't put they were normals cause if i did i would look even more silly if they turned out to be a "DIFFERENT" morph.
And fair enough for the bloke with the picture to ask a question of "what morph" his corn is, did i put in my first post that it was directed to him "NO" i mearly staited that it was wrong for people to buy pets of any sort to "SHOW OFF" to people when they don't know a thing about the pet in the first place

the picture I am refering to is the one where you state that "this is bull snake otherwise known as a gopher snake."
I didn't really make that clear in the previous post.
The caption originaly read : "I think this is a ? gopher snake"
I don't remember which species you stated but it was obvious that when you posted that picture you weren't sure.
You have of course changed the caption but you and I know, don't we.
Once again, I am not the one who acted as if I was the one that knew everything, you are.

The picture origialy said "I Think it is a pacific gopher snake" but u try and ID that snake cause its vary hard to ID gopher/bull snake whn the bloke that sold it to me didn't know a thing about it he sold it to m as a corn snake but i knew it was from the Bull Snake Family, unless u know 100% what the parents r u will have trouble ID'ing it, i have only guessed that it was a pacific gopher snake due to some research on the internet the closest match i could find was a pacific gopher snake but i aint fussed at all cause it was a misstreated snake b4 i got it, it was extreamly overfed etc.
And the Hatchling corns were a shot in the dark cause i didn't even see the parents of the hatchlings but now im 90% sure that they r Normals cause the orange colourations have come out extreamly well since there last shed.
I also have two yearling corns (1 male hypo and 1 female snow) and a 6 year old female normal the bull(gopher) snake 2- 3 years old and a ball (royal) python which i am waiting to get home due to it not eating yet

To that plong character. first off your an inconsiderate jerk. i know that it is a cornsnake and i know it is normal, but if you knew you butt from your elbow an okeetee phase can look like a normal corn when it is a hatchling.

o and incase you were wondering i have done about 4 months of research before i got my cornsnakes.

mabe you should ask questions before you judge someone.

I think that both draybar and plong were being rude for using someone's picture thing as a place to argue over who it right. i do however think that draybar is overally right. nowwhy don't you people try to stop arguing and answer his question? who is rude now?
anyway i am a newb and i can't tell what morph it is, but mabeye after the next shed you can post a picture again so we can compare the two pictures and mabeye see better what morph it is

i know what you mean i dont like to see people with animals that they have no clue about either. like the other day a lil kid was in this petstore i was at, he wanted a snake but didnt want to hold one and i asked him if he knew anything about snakes and he said no he just wanted one cause they were cool.
