that monitor looks in terrible condition , im not saying its been done by you cos it looks like its a cf or even wc animal but the way your keepin it from what a can see is terrible conditions you need to get yourself a proper viv instead of drawing over the sides of a fish tank with a biro youd see a big difference if you got like a 130-150F basking spot and a lot more hides and diggable substrate and instead of feeding her lots of pinkies give her instead either a medium sized mouse or lots of large insects like locusts and vitamin dusted crickets for better detail go onto www.proexotics.com and go to there ionide caresheet its pretty much the same for the bosc except enclosure size is obviously smaller for a bosc

I took that picture the first day i got her from a pet store and i feed about 5 pinkies a day and some days i feed her about 11.Ive read that care sheet and i changed her cage i will post a pic of it.And i now have a huge heating pad under her tank and a little 1 under bedding and i have 2 hide spots in the warm area and 1 of them is a heat 1 so its pretty warm over there. (p.s. i think i saved her because at the pet store she was housed with about 5 uromastyx and i think she got in a fight with them because she a fresh scar on her neck)

your not getting what am saying lizard boy , stop using heatmats and get yourself a BULB a SPOT BULB its not natural to get heat from the ground these lizards bask under the sun sure they sit on a warm rock in the wild but they need a bulb to get a BASKING SPOT of 130-150F you cant do that with a heat mat , also stop feeding her pinkies every day , instead of 12 pinkies maybe give her 1 medium sized adult mouse a week then feed her insects every day instead of the pinkies , in the wild savannah monitors dont live on rodents as babies there diet is made up of insects , do the same pinkies are bad especially the number your giving her a day and when they make up her full diet, no offence but with the start in life youve given her you havent improved her life from when it was in the petshop, buy a good book and spend a bit of money on some good vitamin powders and some livefood and have a healthy monitor instead of a dead one

yes i agree because hes still a juvie then his diet need to be based mostly on insects and a lot of them and i feed my bt 2 mice sometimes 3 a week it depends on that stupid pet store they never have what i neeed but thats besides the point .and insects 4 to 5 days a week and get zoo med or somthing (powder ) to dust the insects . if you feed them to many mice it can act as steroids and make them more defensive and be unhealthy . temps must be high . im not saying that i am perfect but i have done alot of reading and looking up things on these animals
