heater fire

That is a big time fear of mine. What did it burn/what was it touching when it went? That really sucks. I hope nobody got hurt!

zoo med labotories paid me off cash cause i raised attention 2 thier heat matt crisis. it was on the back of 1/4 inch partical with 4mica on the wall..they guarentee thier heaters not to go above 115 f. this was about 350. no 1 was hurt 1 dead reticulated friend.......................w

no he died of inhilation..i did cpr and stuck his head in my mouth tring to get him going...rip...i tested a zoo med matt afterwards mounted on a glass aquarium bottem at 145 degrees..i think they get 2 warm...........

so sorry about the loss of your retic with this accident. I will keep this in mind when I finally get to get a snake

wow, i have a zoo med heat pad. at first, it was geting SO hot, i couldnt even touch it!. btu now, it barley get warm!!!!!!! oh, i hope this doesnt happen to me :( sory for your loss. but im shure zoo med more than made up for it :)
