Thank you for posting this. I wouldn't have guessed they went in so deep. Do you mix special sand so it won't cave in on her? This is very interesting!

I either use 100% play sand or a mix of organic potting soil and sand. I then add water to bring it to a consistency that will allow her to tunnel without it caving in on her.
