Hi, I'm inquiring about whether i should get a water or ionide(BTM). Truthfully i had a sav that was inflicted with something ( I can't remember what the vet said at this moment) but I had put a great deal of time, money, and effort into it. For the past 5 months all i have been doing online is researching up BTMs and waters, inquiring about which one to get.So anyways, I would like to know how interactions with your water went and if you have any advice for me concerning the topic of aquiring one. Even though most of the info I'v read in various reading say ionides are the best, but I'm still attracted to waters. (P.S. sorry for my long question)

Great monitors!
I could help u out, I have both ionide and water. Water monitor babies are more fragile and flghty. They regurgetate as a form of defense and if not worked with right, that could be a problem. Small water monitors and Ionides are very prone to RI and a few cold nights could damage them. Ionides aren't as fragile when young and don't really regurge as a form of self defense. Both species are great and I recomend either one depending on what u have room for. If interested, I have a beautiful Sumatran water monitor that is great and is over 2ft. I am trying to sell him due to retics!

BMX, thanks for the advice. Thats what I've heard as well. Except I have no clue what RI is an accronym for. Anyways, I have decided on purchasing a water monitor. Regarding the one you want to sell: What state do you live in (or how are you able to get it to California)? How old is it (obviously less than a year)? IS it Captive or wild caught (most likely wild lol)? Has it seen a vet? Ok, well I'll keep in touch. Thanks

RI means Respritory Infection.
The watermonitor is actually around 30inches(Tip to tip) and over 7months old. It is cb/ch. It is healthy and eats mice off the tongs along with some bugs and turkey. I could ship it to u!

Cool. So how much do you want for it? However, it might take one month or two for me to pay you, if I decide to buy it off you. Can I get your email to easily contact you?
