Where is the heat lamp? Or are you using a heating pad? Also you should never put any reptile in front of a window. The sun could majorly increase th temp. of the terrarium.

I don't know about how the window could affect the temp. cuz i haven't ever measured the differences, but i do know that if you have an albino, the sun light can harm him if too much is let in...
