Kira 3/30/91 - 1/26/04

I remember the first time I saw your beautiful face. Coming off that dog hauler, from Florida. I knew you were the most beautiful greyhound on earth and you were ours.

We watched you blossom from a shy, quiet girl to a full of life, everyone love me girl. Everyone did love you. No one could resist you. You were perfect.

Your dark face, sleek soft fur, we loved to hold and pet you. Through the years, that dark face turned a little more white. Your fur, remained as soft, but grew lighter with color.

Age finally caught up with you and you were taken from us. It hurts to think about you being gone.

As I remember you, I think of the most important things I learned from you. Love is the most important thing in the world. Let those you love know how you feel at all times. Learn to relax, and enjoy a beautiful day. Get out and learn about the world, even if it is just your own little neighborhood.

Kira, my love, my heart and soul, you will never be forgotten.
