I usually take her out on her main perch, then lay set her perch down on my bed when she slithers off she looks for a higer place, Which will be either another straight brach or my arm. once she is in my arm she is higher and feels safe i do wear a sweat every time just in case she is grumpy and bites my arm (which she never has... so far). I prefer GTPs when it comes to SHOW snakes becase they are soemwhat nicer.

More defensive than aggressive. If you can make them feel safe you're good.
Feed them at night, after they're awake a while. DON'T handle them then,
they're in hunt mode. Take off the sweater or sweat shirt or whatever. It won't make a difference, trust me. TJ
