I reguarly see my tarantulas drinking from there water dish although not all Ts need as much water intake such as desert species. Lasiodora spp generaly live in more humid environments and always seem more "thirsty". My Lasiodora parahybana certainly does anyway.

Hi! This thread is old, but I have to write. How some animals have to suffer! Specially itabunae comes from the rainforest, south-brazil, with small rivers around; she need 60-70 % wet earth in 1/3 in her terrarium, she need water so survive. Why ppl dont look for informations about the tarantulas they keep at home?! Greets from Germany.

Assholes...The spider was in that box while I cleaned the terrarium where she lived. The dirt in the water, was the litter that the spider kicked os the Box soil.
On the ideal humidity, I live in south america, and near a river too. The relative humidity here is around 70% and temperature 30 'Celsius.
Soooo, shut up!
